A useful BESS quotation connects one of eight documented product configurations to the operating mode, electrical boundary, site conditions, evidence and responsibility matrix.

Information buyers should send before asking for price.

Incomplete inputs create quotations that look comparable but contain different equipment and assumptions.

Quotation questions

What a comparable BESS offer should answer.

Ask every supplier to answer the same boundary questions.

Is usable energy or only rated energy stated?

The offer should distinguish rated energy, usable energy, reserve SOC, cycle window and any end-of-life or ambient assumptions used for sizing.

Is the PCS inside the offered product?

The 105–250 kW cabinets and 100 kW hybrid platform include a defined PCS architecture. Container projects use a separate PCS step-up architecture. The quotation must identify the exact PCS, transformer and connection boundary.

What fire scope is included?

The documented platforms include detection and perfluorohexanone suppression inside the product. External fire-water, site alarm integration, ventilation interfaces and local fire-code requirements must be assigned separately.

Which documents should be approved before production?

At minimum: project datasheet, single-line, general arrangement, foundation/load data, cable and communication interfaces, responsibility matrix, document register and FAT plan.

Send one project brief. Get a clearer system boundary.

Include available load data, operating modes, target kW/kWh, grid single-line, site conditions, preferred configuration and expected delivery schedule.
